TRASH COLLECTION
The Town of McCordsville would like to inform and remind the residents of the trash collection services that are provided by Caldwell Gravel Services (CGS Services, Inc). CGS would like all refuse placed at curbside, alley, or at the end of the driveway in proper containers before 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning. Proper containers include closed plastic bags and metal or plastic cans (5 to 32 gallons) with handles. If large totes are used (60 to 90 gallon carts on wheels), trash must be in bags. A maximum of 6 bags/containers will be collected each week.
When disposing of grass and shrubbery cuttings, please keep in mind that bagged grass can only be filled half full. The weight cannot exceed 15 lbs (grass becomes very heavy the longer it sits). Shrubbery cuttings, limbs and sticks must be no longer than 3 ft. long and tied in bundles. Each bundle counts as one item. Bags of leaves will not be accepted.
CGS will pick up no more than one large item for disposal the first Tuesday of each month. If the workweek contains a holiday, the regular pickup day of Tuesday will be delayed one day.

McCordsville residents also have the opportunity to participate in curbside recycling which is provided by CGS Services. This service is available for an additional cost of $2.00 monthly paid by the resident. Please contact CGS at 1-800-453-5575 for details.
